This house is a wooden two-story house located in Miyuki-cho, Fukuyama City. There are two requests from the owner - they would like to have dinner together with their parents in the new house and also the space could be partitioned flexibly as the family members grow up. By providing the courtyard, each room have access to outside as much as possible to secure ventilation for each room even though the rooms are divided with partition walls. By providing two courtyards, we are able to give owner the flexibility to adjust to both defined elements at the time of the design and uncertain elements which will become certain after the owner start to live there.
